Green power is electricity that comes from renewable, more environmentally friendly sources like wind, solar, geothermal, biomass and low-impact hydropower energy. Interest during construction (IDC) charges include additional costs, such as interest to construct new resources, deferred expenses, interest on new or acquired resources, and government mandated environmental costs or upgrades.
